“Tha Carter III Album” is the sixth studio collection by the award-winning American rapper and record producer, Lil Wayne.
It was released on June 10, 2008 by several record labels including his own, Young Money Entertainment. The collection was produced by a couple of record producers including Cool & Dre, Maestro, Swizz Beatz, Jim Jonsin and etc.
“Tha Carter III Album” features guest appearances from American musical sensations such as JAY-Z, Bobby V, T-Pain, Busta Rhymes, Brisco, Static Major, Kidd Kidd, Juelz Santana, Babyface, Fabolous, Robin Thicke, Betty Wright and D. Smith.
Lastly, in its first week, the album sold over one million copies and it was one of the highly anticipated collections of year 2008—it debuted at #1 on Billboard Hot 200. RIAA certified this album, octuple platinum.
