American singer, songwriter and female rapper, Jhené Aiko has returned with a lovely song which she captioned “3:16 am.”
This heartfelt song was inspired by two things i) this woman was born on March 16th and ii) John 3:16 which says “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
It was taken from her well-known extended playlist titled “Sail Out EP” a body of work which is packing seven solid tracks including “Bed Peace“ featuring rapper, Childish Gambino.
The production of this song “3:16 am” was handled successfully by a bunch of record producers and song composers known as The Fisticuffs.
What does Jhené Aiko say about this song?
That song’s pretty deep. It’s about addiction, not just drugs, addiction to anything that you go to when you’re in your darkest place and I think everyone can relate to that.
We’ve all been to hell and back and that’s pretty much what 3:16 is all about: going to hell and back.
At last, this amazing song is going to get you back into the mood, believing that everything gets better with time, and if you are deep into something, remember that, you are not alone.

..quotable lyrics
I’m right back where I was before
But I’m not alone, you say take my hand
And we go (and we go), and we go (and we go)
And I hope that we don’t overdose
Cause we don’t (cause we don’t)
No we don’t (no we don’t)
Ever know when we have had enough
I’m a be so cold, need some more
I’ve never felt these things before
I’m a feind for sure, please don’t go
How could you not need me no more?
