Tyla Laura Seethal, better known by her stage name, Tyla, is a South African singer-songwriter (born January 30, 2002) who was born and raised in Johannesburg.

In 2019, she released her top-charted single, “Getting Late, ” featuring the singer-songwriter and record producer, Kooldrink.

In her music career, she released several songs such as “To Last,” and “Girl Next Door” but she rose to international fame after the release of “Water,” which was released in 2023.

She is one of a few musicians who won a Grammy Award shortly after starting to make music officially. She won a Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance at the 66th annual Grammy Awards.

She recently uncovered a music album that she is self-titled “Tyla (Album) (2024),” containing fourteen must-listen songs.
