Raymond Shaban (born 22 August 1993) better known by his stage name Rayvanny, is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava music artist, rapper, and Next Level Music owner.

He started off his music career as a rapper. In 2011 it was a year he realized his passion for music when he won a rap competition at their high school.

In 2012, he joined Manzese-based music group Tip Top Connection where he learned new things and skills that sharpened him and connected with different music artists.

Three years later, 2015, he got signed to WCB Wasafi Records, a top-notch Tanzanian record label owned by a businessman and music artist, Diamond Platnumz.

His first song in the label, “Kwetu” blew him up and helped him stretch his fanbase in Tanzania and neighboring countries. Rayvanny was the talk of time from 2016 until today, he managed to hold this status.

In 2022, he decided to leave WCB Wasafi and start his own record he titled Next Level Music and signed his first artist known by his stage name, Macvoice.

He collaborated with international music artists such as Maluma who is a Latin top-tier musician, and he won multiple music artists and made a record to be the first Tanzanian music artist to ever win a BET award.
