Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (born 16 July 1990), known professionally as Wizkid, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record label (Starboy Entertainment) owner.

He is one of the top-notch in Africa and the most important artist in Nigeria. He is credited for popularizing Afrobeats during the 2010s, the era when his continental hit song “Ojuelegba” came out.

He was born in Surulere and started doing music at the very young age of 11. From the previous statement, you can tell this music thing is in his blood.
