Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun known professionally as Wizkid (sometimes stylized as WizKid) was born on 16 July 1990, in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria.

According to sources, Wizkid he is considered one of the most influential, in the modern-day Afrobeats music scene.

He started making music at the age of 11 and has won multiple music awards, including the one musicians respects the most, Grammys.

Additionally, by February 2021, he was the most-streamed Nigerian music artist of all time on Spotify with over 3.4 billion streams.

We all know this guy only drops hit songs, “Essence” alone went viral and became the first Nigerian song to hit the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100.

As of today, he already released five studio albums, which are Superstar (2011), Ayo (2014), Sounds from the Other Side (2017), Made in Lagos (2020), More Love, Less Ego (2022).
