Omary Ally Mwanga (31 December 1995), professionally known by his stage name Marioo, is a well-known Tanzanian singer, songwriter, and music producer.

He started off his musical journey as a ghostwriter. Marioo was just a guy who artists with big names in the Bongo Flava industry relied on him for song lyrics. A long time ago, Marioo wrote plenty of hit songs for artists who were in the mainstream.

In 2015, he was tired of being a ghostwriter and released his breakthrough tune named “Dar Kugumu” which was a smash hit song and put him on the Bongo Flava map.

He didn’t just stop there, he went on and dropped multiple bangers such as Inatosha, Raha, Chibonge, Anyinya, et cetera which proved that he could also sing.

He is now a big Bongo Flava music artist with a 16-track exceptional music album named “The Kid You Know” which is also one of the best albums, exploring different musical styles such as Amapiano, Afrobeats, and R&B.
